Iran, UAE to boost ties in animal feed industry

TEHRAN, Jan. 27 (MNA) – Head of Iran Feed Industry Association announced that an Iranian economic delegation will visit UAE to escalate bilateral trade. Majid Movafegh Ghadiri said Iran Feed Industry Association will deploy a trade delegation to the United Arab Emirates on Februrary 16 to exploit potentials of Persian Gulf littoral states as well as the plan of the Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture and VIV Worldwide would be co-locating their international events for the first time at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) from 16-18 February 2016. “Participation in the Abu Dhabi exposition would provide proper grounds for joint investment in various areas of animal feed industry,” he underlined. He enumerated possible venues for launching cooperation between Iranian factories and companies of UAE including supply of raw materials for factories of animal food, supplements and additives; “to this end, we seek to hold sessions with prominent UAE firms as well as to make visits to dairy and meat production centers.” “Furthermore, the two countries are ready to expand collaborations in the fields of exports and imports, trading goods, joint investments as well as cooperation in regional markets,” stressed Movafegh Ghadiri adding “the main barrier to reinvigoration of ties with UAE have been the lack of banking relations between the two countries by removal of which, acceleration of economic relations in animal feed industry would become feasible.” “The upcoming trip of the Iranian delegation to Abu Dhabi can set the ground for improving bilateral trade and economic relations in the forthcoming months,” he concluded.
