The cost of importation of livestock inputs is going to reduce to 9%.

Dr. Majid Ghadirli in an interview with the agricultural sector of Tasnim News about the meeting of committee related to the Article 76 in the Iranian Chamber of Commerce said: Accordingly the time and costs of importation of livestock inputs to the country, it reduces around 9 percent according to estimates. He added: according to this Act, imports of food dense (livestock and poultry concentrated), are not considered equivalent as other drugs anymore and the cost of veterinary experts in the country of origin of imports, will be paid by Veterinary and the importer does not pay anymore in this regard. This member of private sector added: Article 76 will consider during a State Cabinet meeting, within the next month and necessary funding to support this work is going to be available to Veterinary organization. It must be mentioned that about 85 percent of inputs consumption of feed for poultry and close to 50% for livestock sector is imported and reduction of the cost of importing cattle feed and poultry feed, reduce the cost of milk, meat and poultry in the country.
