Summary of Glorification Ceremony of Dr. Ali Rahimian Esfahani Glorification ceremony of Dr. Ali RAHIMIAN Esfahani, father of Iran`s Animal Feed Industry, was held on Sunday Bahman 10th, 1395 (Iranian calendar), Jan 29th, 2017 by Iran Feed Industry Associations.
Some of the officials attended in this event: Massoud Pezeshkian, the first vice-president of Iran`s Parliament, Pedram Soltani, vice president of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, and several members of the Board of Directors of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Ali Mohammad Shaeri, chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, Vice-President of the Commission and some members of the Committee on Agriculture, Water and Natural Resources of Parliamen, chairman and members of the Committee on Agriculture and Food industry of Chamber of Commerce of Iran, a number of deputy ministers of Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance as well as Ministry of industry, mine and trade.
Also more than 400 veterans and top executives of Iran animal feed industry and activists of country`s chain protein were presented to glorify Dr. Rahimian Esfahani.
During the event, speakers expressed the influential and prominent actions and activities of Dr. RAHIMIAN Esfahani. Also at this event it was unveiled from commemorative stamp of this leading entrepreneur.
Majid Movafegh Ghadirly, Chairman of Iran Feed Industry Association, at this event said that the Association has 644 members of industrial units who produce totaling 9 million tons oflivestock, poultry and aquaculture industrial feed. Also referring to Dr. Rahimia "Dr. Rahimian knows very well how to work with other people and this is his key to success", he said.
He pointed to statistics of meat consumption in the world in 2015, said that according to statistics, right now Iran is the 24th country in the world in terms of per capita meat consumption. However, the period in which the Dr. RAHIMIAN attempted to set up livestock and poultry feed factories, Iran was among the poorest countries in terms of meat consumption. In such circumstances, by launching Standards of a Healthy slaughterhouse as well as launching poultry feed mill for traditional farms at that time, he could improve per capita protein consumption in Iran.
Dr. Ghadirly emphasized that Dr. RAHIMIAN Esfahani is one of the Iranian pioneer and a permanent entrepreneurs who helped a lot to grow and strengthen the private sector even when he worked in the administration of the government.
"Dr. RAHIMIAN Esfahani founded an industry that thousands of people are working on it; also that nowadays Food Security can be provided and this is no small achievement, therefore, this event is a small tribute to a man who has worked for Iran's progress", he continued.
Dr. Ghadirly, member of the Board of Representatives of ICC, also informed that Iran Feed Industry Association is going to donate 14 different awards for supporting the best activists and entrepreneurs in livestock and poultry industry and related industries.
