Rejoining of Iran to the International Federation of feed after 11 years

Iran Feed Industry Association`s Chairman in an interview with Iranian press informed of the membership of IFIA in the most reliable and decision-maker institution of the private sector in the field of animal feed in the world. Majid Movafegh Ghadirly said that Iran Feed Industry Association joined IFIF in 2003, but due to the sanctions, our collaboration was interrupted for 11 years. He added: “The International Federation of Animal Feed (IFIF) composed of regional and international associations from around the world. IFIF organizes the livestock feed situation; also, has regular interaction and close cooperation with all its members in around the world.” Majid Movafegh Ghadirly stated that one of the most important priorities of IFIA is the development of the animal feed industry of Iran in the international level in 2017, therefore by becoming a member of IFIF, not only we can develop our international interaction and collaboration, but also we can raise standards of animal feed in Iran by setting national and international regulations and standards. At the end Movafegh Ghadirly mentioned that IFIF plays a strong role in promoting the solutions based on science and shares information for feed producers, animal breeders as well as international institutions responsible for regulation such as FAO and OIE; as a result, IFIA`s membership in IFIF can facilitate many feed problems in the international area.
