Meeting of the Chairman of the Iran Feed Industry Association with the Honorable Vice President of Iran

Majid MovafeqGhadiri, Chairman of the Iran Feed Industry Association, met with Dr. Jahangiri, First Vice President of the country, to discuss some issues of the animal feed industry.
In this meeting, which took place Tuesday, February 9, 2021, the following issues were raised:

• 1- Prohibition of feed production in illegal units and in the livestock, poultry and aquaculture farms with the aim of increasing the quantity and quality of protein products and, of course, promoting the country's self-reliance.
• 2- Providing a budget of one hundred billion tomans for the government's share in the National Fund for Supporting Investment Development in Iranian Animal Feed Mills.
• 3- Timely allocation and supply of livestock inputs to feed mills in line with the approvals of the country's market regulation headquarters.
• 4- Priority of importing livestock inputs to animal feed mills and consumption up to the operating license limitwith the aim of increasing competitiveness and reducing complex administrative bureaucracies in this field.
• 5- Removing the ban on the export of feed concentrates and supplements due to the lack of preferential currency in the production of these products with the aim of strengthening export-oriented products and maintaining export target markets.
