25th Tehran International Livestock, Poultry and Related Industries Exhibition Held

The 25th Tehran International Livestock, Poultry and Related Industries Exhibition was held at the Tehran Permanent International Fairground from October 18 to 21, 2026 (26–29 Mehr 1405) under the slogan “Synergy for Enhancing Food Security and National Resilience.” The event brought together senior government officials, representatives of international organizations, private-sector players, and domestic and foreign companies active across the animal protein value chain.

The opening ceremony was attended by Ghaempanah, Executive Vice President; Nouri, Minister of Agriculture Jihad; Farrokh Tayero, the FAO Representative in Iran; and dozens of other government officials and private-sector representatives. After the official opening, the dignitaries toured the exhibition booths and became acquainted with the activities, products and capabilities of the participating companies.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, and in the presence of Ghaempanah and other government officials, the book Iran Animal Feed Market 2026 was unveiled. The book examined the state of the country’s feed market and is regarded as a reference for policymakers, investors and industry professionals.

This edition of the exhibition covered 40,000 square meters and was organized into three sectors: veterinary pharmaceuticals, equipment, and livestock, poultry and aquaculture feed. A total of 260 domestic companies took part alongside 16 foreign companies from China, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Russia, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Malaysia, India, Türkiye, Argentina, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Italy. The presence of companies from these countries provided opportunities for technology exchange, exposure to the latest equipment, and expanded commercial cooperation.

Thirty banks also participated in the exhibition, a notable feature given the importance of financing across the livestock and poultry production chain, as it facilitated direct dialogue between producers and the banking system. In addition, 50 knowledge-based companies showcased their products and technologies at the Presidential Innovation and Prosperity Fund pavilion.

The Iran Animal, Poultry and Aquatic Feed Industry Association chaired the exhibition’s policy-making council. Alongside the trade show, more than 50 conferences, training workshops and specialized panels were held at the fairground. A guided exhibition tour was also organized for ambassadors from 25 countries, in support of economic diplomacy and to showcase the capabilities of Iran’s livestock, poultry and aquaculture industry.

The Association’s own booth hosted 13 specialized panels on the following topics:

  • Biosecurity and animal health: the hidden asset of sustainable production
  • Modern feed processing technologies: the path to better quality and efficiency
  • Challenges of importing and domestically producing veterinary drugs and vaccines
